Finally I've found time to share this lovely Warehouse coat with you! These photos were taken over the weekend when my Mum came to visit - its great having friends and family come to stay when you live in London cos you get to "play tourist"! We went to Borough market, (in the pouring down rain), went shopping on Regent Street, (again, in the pouring down rain), and I also finally got over to the Tim Walker exhibition, Story Teller! It was beautiful, so inspiring and fascinating!

I love the colour of the Ovoid Coat, it's very autumnal, and the fabric feels soft and expensive. My only issue with this design is the three quarter length sleeve...sigh. Why do all high street brands insist on selling outerwear with missing sleeves? It's so impractical for chilly weather! Warehouse do have some super chic pieces in their winter range though, have a gander here!

BAG: £14.99 H&M

This beanie hat is from Topman and I actually stole it from my boyfriend's room whilst he was away in Somerset, tut tut! It's available in loads of different colours; navy, cream, grey, burgundy, on Sunday I popped into Topman and bought myself two!

On another note, last night I went to a Coldplay charity event for which they were auctioning off artwork for Kids Company, a charity that works with vulnerable children in London. I'm sorry I didn't get any photos, but it was held in a great venue called Proud in Camden, they served champagne and canapes, and there were even a few celebs dotted about! (Greg James is rather lovely in the flesh I must say).

I mentioned Motel earlier this week after attending their Christmas party, and I just wanted to show you this super cool high waisted circle skirt they sent me. Not only is it stylishly embellished with gold beaded crucifixes, which seem to be very popular at the moment, but it's such a flattering shape - I can't wait to wear it out for a dance!

As some of you know, I studied journalism at University, (in some units any way), but since graduating I haven't really "written" anything. This seems like such a shame considering writing has always been one of my strong points, from as far back as I can remember I was writing poems and short stories, and I was always in "top class" for English at school. From now on I'm going to make a lot more effort to write more, starting on my blog. No more lazy, heavy photographic blog posts from me.

I just watched my first Christmas film of the year, Elf - OH! and I've just seen Fred Claus is on later...YAY CHRISTMAS!

Earlier this week I headed over to Shoreditch with the lovely Leigh from Fox & Feather for the Motel Christmas party! Whilst there we got to meet up with some very talented bloggers - we viewed Motel's latest party collection, enjoyed a delicious selection of cocktails and of course, took full advantage of the photo booth! Below are some cheeky snaps of us playing dress up!

Whilst rummaging through the prop box, Leigh came across a pretend graduation cap which, we felt was very fitting considering it's my graduation this week! I'm not going though because I'd rather spend my money on shoes or a holiday...had it been straight after I received my results, I would have made the effort, but 5 months later when I've moved on with a new job in a new city...nah. So yes, above are my "graduation" photos! (I'll still get the piece of paper through the post anyway^_^)

One day I'd like to get one of these in my living room, so much fun!

AX Paris kindly offered to send me an item from their current winter range, and this kitsch moustache knit jumper seemed irresistible considering we're in November! Also, these lovely black mixed material brogues are what I picked up at the NEXT lock in the other week!

As always, this weekend has flown by! On Saturday I nipped down to Borough market for a cup of hot, spicy cider and then in the evening we went to a gig in Kilburn before going out for a boogie in Islington...I'm tired today! What did everyone else get up to this weekend?

On Thursday evening I was invited over to the ICEBAR to join the lovely and fellow fashion bloggers for a fabulous evening of festive fun and Christmas goodies! Huskies, mulled wine, mince pies, knitwear, and of course the ICEBAR itself - the Boohoo team had thought of everything to ensure a very special evening!

The ICEBAR itself was absolutely amazing; even my cocktail was served in a block of ice! If you haven't been already then I would definitely recommend checking it out! You should also have a look at Boohoo's latest winter collection - their new boutique range was particularly impressive and perfect for festive events to come!

In leaving I was handed a rather large box, it was wrapped in a beautiful red bow and contained many Christmas goodies including a hand warmer, hot chocolate and a Boohoo onesie!

Here are some images from a shoot I styled over the summer for a boutique called Glass. We had an amazing team and shot in one of East London's most iconic areas - Brick Lane.

Have I ever told you how much I love winter? I love the cold, crisp chill on my face in the mornings, I love oversized coats, and I love the build up to Christmas!

Last week I was contacted by FASHION UNION; they asked me to put together an outfit using their products and obviously I jumped to the challenge! As I've recently found myself a little obsessed with jumpers, I chose this super cool black cross stud sweat top to wear over the black jewel peter pan collar sleeveless dress, and I paired the duo with these black glitter and stud pointed flats, (very Alexa).

Last week I was lucky enough to attend the Next blogger Lock in! After a delightful treat of cocktails and canap├ęs, we were invited over to the Bond street store to check out their latest winter pieces, I picked out this beautiful vintage inspired navy colour block bag. I wore it into work last week and colleagues literally walked the length of the room to admire it!

As well as its chic and cheerful exterior, I love the surprising amount of compartments the bag has to offer, creating a lot of space in a relatively small bag! I'm particularly impressed with the two zip compartments either side which are great for books and paperwork. Oh, and the stripey lining is very exciting, it reminds me of a pair of dungarees I had in the 90s!

This is what I wore to the rain room exhibition yesterday. This Boden jumper is the sparkle edition of the Skye jumper I've previously raved on about - it's the same shape as the original but with a sparkly festive twist! I got two sizes up again so it's lovely and slouchy!

Today I went to the much hyped about Rain Room at the Barbican. After queuing for just over two hours, I finally entered the exhibition space to dim lighting and the distant "pitter patter" of rain, and on following the curve of the venue around to the left, I was suddenly faced with the above scene.

In a nutshell, you walk into pouring down rain and don't get wet! Well, I felt a drop here and there...and if you move too quickly for the sensors the water hits you...but it's still a very impressive interactive exhibition and a surreal experience! If you have time I really recommend going, it's on until March next year - click here for all the info.

Has anyone else been? What did you think!? (I do have photos of what I wore by the way, but I'll post them separately). Hope everyone's having a great weekend xx
